Vision of the Organization
- WCDO wishes to see a poverty free and prosperous
Ethiopia.
Specific Objectives
- Improve the existing health and sanitation
problem and hence the productivity of women & children
and that of the community in general
- Reduce the illiteracy rate, human
resource wastage, access to girls education and increase the
productivity of the target community
- Improve the livelihood of women and
poor community groups in general through economic empowerment
- Facilitate and speed up the development
process through promoting good governance and conflict management
- Improve the well being of old people
- Improve the well being of farmers
and pastoral with particular emphasis on women
- Improve the status of women and children
through advocacy
Strategy

- Focus on selected fields of competence to

- Conduct baseline and household food economy
survey and need assessment before project implementation
- Develop Clear and defined phase-out and
handing over of development projects
