Vision of the Organization
- Promotion of the economic, political, social
rights of women and to that end to assist them to secure particularly
full protection of their rights under the FDRE constitution
and the relevant human rights conventions
Specific Objectives
- The elimination of all forms of legal and
traditionally sanctioned discrimination against women
- Ensuring legal treatment of women with men
in education, employment access to public services and benefits
- Advocacy of remedial and affirmative
measures for women to redress the consequences of accumulated
discrimination
