Vision of the Organization

• KMG envisages a society where women are free from all forms of discrimination and violence and attain justice, equality to improve their live and the society at large.

General Objective

• To enable women in target areas to bring about an enabling environment whereby values and rights of women are recognized and the rate of harmful customary practices are reduced.

Strategy

• Linking the practical or every day needs of the communities with strategic needs of women (such as elimination of all forms of discriminations against women, violence against women, women’s right and attainment of equity and equality)

  1. Community and School Based Reproductive Health Education Program
  2. HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control
  3. HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) Center
  4. Campaign against Female Genital Excision and other Harmful Customary practices and elimination of all forms of discrimination, and violence against women
  5. Mother and Child Health (MCH) Center
  6. Gender in Leadership and Decision Making (GLDM)

• Livelihood, alternative income generation, and skill training programs
• Environmental Regeneration and Rehabilitation Program
• Small Rural Infrastructure Development (bridge construction, potable water schemes) Program
