General objective

To increase the participation, retention and achievement of girls in education
To undertake advocacy programs intended to create societal awareness in the promotion of the status of women and girls
To provide support to members that encounter difficulties in work places, in relation to their gender status

Specific objectives

To contribute to sound implementation of national educational policy and support its implementation
To formulate interventions that improve the quality of girls education
To undertake advocacy programs for awareness creation and sensitization
To conduct, support and co-ordinate research on female education, disseminate and implement their findings
To build the capacity of members so as to enable them to carryout their responsibilities efficiently and effectively

Activities of the Organization

Follow up the implementation of the female students' scholarship program;
Assisting research activities on girls' education
Advocacy work to discourage early marriage & abduction
Strengthening organizational capacity of the chapter & sub-chapters,
Implementation of the Agatha Award Program for innovative achievement in female education

Vision of the organization

Support female students to perform better, actively participate and complete their studies and thus minimize gender disparity
